Manaaki Time and Timetable Periods

Manaaki is a 45-minute block at the start of each day for with your Manaaki class and teacher. On Wednesdays, Manaaki is 10 minutes.

Courses are timetabled over a week and run in 85-minute blocks.

School starts later on a Wednesday, (9.35am) to allow for Staff Professional Learning.

The High School operates with bells. A bell will be rung at the beginning and end of each block, as well as five minutes before the end of lunchtime. Students are expected to be in class on time (within two to three minutes of the bell ringing). Students will not be released from class until the bell has rung indicating the end of the lesson.

Assemblies are held in their Houses at Manaaki time as required.
