• Successful completion of Year 10 Social Studies, Economics or Mathematics, or at the discretion of the Head of Faculty.


• To provide students with a clear understanding of accounting reports and their preparation and the use of accounting information as a basis for decision-making.

The course aims to:

• Help the student manage their personal finances.
• Ensure that a student can prepare and understand basic financial statements.
• Enable students to use accounting information to make decisions.

Note: All Achievement Standards offered in this course contribute to NCEA Level 1 Literacy.
